Polka Dot Theme Numbers Chart and a Dream

Ok, so after my post yesterday I finished my number charts and went to bed. My dreams were consumed with creating new things for my classroom. I think I am ready to get my creative on. I will update with my creations. One of the things on my list is to update my crate seats. Be on the lookout. In the mean time check out my Polka Dot Number Charts on TPT.

Shape Charts and Lack of Creative Motivation

Ok, for some reason I am having a hard time getting creatively motivated. I have been looking on Pinterest for inspiration but I just haven't found anything I can't live without. Maybe last year ran so smoothly that I don't need anything new. Ha, I don't think so. I did just create some shape posters for my classroom to go along with the theme I am using this year, Polka Dots.

Hopefully that will get my creative juices flowing. I loaded the shape charts on to my TPT store click on the picture to check them out.

Great (and easy) Homework Packet

While blog hoppin' awhile back I came across an absolutely simple homework packet created by Erin at Eberhart's Explorers and Katie at Little Warriors. Click here for the October packet on TPT. I am using these with my Pre-K class and I love it. It is simple to set up, I love sending it home on Monday and they have a whole week to complete it. It also includes a cute monthly family project. Thank you ladies for doing all the leg work. I highly recommend checking it out.

Best year so far!

Ok I feel like a horrible blogger. It has been a busy school year so far. I feel like I am treading water sometimes. I have to say though I have the best class that I have ever had. They are quiet, calm, sweet and smart. I was reading a story on the first day of school and I asked them if they knew what the person was callled that wrote the words and a few of them knew the word author, they also knew illustrator and pronounced it correctly too! These are 4 year olds. I also have a few that already know all of there letters and sounds, I have high expectations for this year. I will stop bragging now. Oh wait one more thing, every single one falls asleep during nap time too! Ok now I am done bragging. I really will post pics soon, I promise. Catcha' on the flip side!

Colors, English and Spanish

I created some color charts for my classroom and posted them on TPT. My teacher neighbor requested them in spanish for her Dual Language class so I posted those as well.
