Pirate Crate Seats

I have been wanting to make crate seats for awhile after seeing them all over pinterest. I was inspired by the directions on Playground Duty. Click here to go to her blog. I found some super cute pirate material to go with my theme at Wal-Mart. Here are some pictures of the finished project. I cannot wait to get into my classroom and decorate.
I even added a ribbon tab.

Dyed Clothes Pins

So I pinned this on Pinterest the other day and then I made some.

Click here to see original post at kojo-designs.com Here are mine...

And the final results.

I used some shallow acrylic trays and filled them a little more than half an inch with warm water and added about 1/4 cup of dye. I placed the clothespins in and let them sit for about 10 mins turned them over and let them sit for ten more minutes. I took them out and let them dry on some paper towels. I love the way that they turned out and can't wait to use them in my classroom. Hope you like them.
